When I arrive at the office

What does a preacher (this one in particular) do when he arrives at the office?
On this Sunday morning, the first thing I do is unpack what stuff I brought with me from the car and set it in the office/building. The second thing I do is prepare my first cup of coffee, to be enjoyed as I eat my breakfast (carrots and olives) I generally bring with me.
At this time, I am sitting at my desk, opening the laptop, scrolling social media, then to three news sites to get the news of the overnight hours. Breakfast finished, coffee cup empty, time to refill.
When I refill my cup, I open my three-ring-Bible (ASV) and begin to work on a future Sunday morning class (Mark), followed by a two to three chapters readings in Acts (I read Acts twice a month). It is my intent to read a portion of the Gospels and Acts each day of the month. With Acts, that means I'll read it twice a month, with the Gospels not nearly as frequently, but I do get 3 chapters each day in one of the Gospels.
Where does prayer fit in during this early morning beginning? Sometimes I begin with a formal time of prayer, but it is frequently my manner to pray interspersed with the variety of activities in which I am engaged. My prayers are never long, frequently, not more than (if I were to count) four sentences each occasion. Without fail, I pray "Lord, thank you for your mercy" for if there is anything of which I am aware, it is that I am in need of the Lord abundant mercy.
My second cup of coffee is finished.
