Deranged

A generation ago this would have been described with one word: deranged. Today, we live in an evil society so morally corrupt, the words of Judged 17:6 loudly ring out. In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Replace the word "king" with "God" and it's all the more obvious.
