The Church of Christ at Rio Grande is a congregation of Christians who love the Lord. We are dedicated to faithfully adhering to the way the apostles set up the church on the day of Pentecost, as one reads in the Book of Acts.

Our worship is simple in form. SCRIPTURE: Acts 2:42– And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers (ESV). **** And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers (ASV).

1. We sing songs of praise without the use the mechanical instrument (Ephesians 5:19-20, ASV)

2. We observe the Lord’s Supper on a weekly basis

3. On the first day of each week, just as the apostle Paul instructed the Corinthians, the saints lay

by in store that in which they prospered. (1 Cor. 16:1-2).

4. Whenever the saints gather, there is heavy emphasis on the preaching/teaching of God’s word

and in prayer. (2 Timothy 4:1-4).
